We are back from Caracas, Venezuela where we have spent one of the best weeks of our lives. It’s been an amazing experience and we’ve met so many great people, new friends and all this thanks to Mattey Magazine (with Roberto, Rafael, Jorge, Miztika and Leo at the helm), one of the best, top class organizers there is.

As mentioned before, there is some extra material from the music video that has not been released until now! Behold some pictures and another YouTube clip below!

Soile Siirtola, our photographer and friend was with us on the two outside locations in the national park/nature reserve Tyresta and the abandoned house in Täby Kyrkby for the recordings of our music video for “Silent Weapon (For A Quiet War)”. As always, she was busy with the camera and took pics both when she should and maybe should’ve not! You can buy it both as a physical and digital version. Keep in mind that the stock is limited and has been exported straight from Japan for you guys! All CD’s and merchandise in the store is Decadence own stock so if you have any small special requests, write it down in the comment box during your ordering steps and you might get an autograph or such!

So I’m back in office again after an amazing time spent in Japan! The high points were definitely my unexpected visit to Loud Park, the great interviews and spending time with our label guys at Spiritual Beast (“Akihabara!”). Special thanks to BURRN! Magazine (I truly appreciate your deep understanding and interest in Decadence), Eat Magazine (we’ll talk some more about my travels!) and Young Guitarist (it means a lot to me that you brought up myself as a guitarist and let me in the discussion with Hibria’s two guitarists as well!).   Read more... This is probably what we all think right now, enough talk – time to show, time to hear and time to see. It’s just past midnight and the day switched to October 14, 2009 and the release of Decadence’ new album ‘Chargepoint’ is due!

Along with this and after a months long process with up’s and down’s, our music video producer Helena Starenby worked hard to get our music video finished before the release day and so it is complete! Some of you might wonder, who is Nicke? Well, you should know it by now! Nicke, or Niklas Skogqvist, has been Decadence’ session guitarist since Simon Galle left the band last November, 2008. Now, it’s almost been a year since then and Nicke has played with us on all shows, supported us in the recording process of ‘Chargepoint’ and simply been a great friend.

Last weekend we had a great show in Tilburg, Holland (Mario’s Metal Mania III Warm Up) and the weekend before that another great show in Boden, Sweden (Nordic Rage Metal Festival). We really enjoyed coming to both places and we want to thank everyone involved for making this possible, especially Nicklas Johansson (Nordic Rage) and Mario van Dooren (MMM) and a special thanks to our sound tech Sarban Grimminck (MMM).
